How to Rebirth Without Wasting Progress

A rebirth trades your Power for a permanent Cash multiplier. The multiplier is the easy half to understand; the timing is where players lose an hour.

Quick answer

Rebirth the moment the Rebirth button shows a red exclamation point. Power above the requirement is thrown away, so every point you train past the threshold is a point you paid for and will not use.

What you gain

Reaching the required Power threshold unlocks the Rebirth menu. Taking a rebirth sets Power back to zero and grants a permanent Cash earning rate multiplier. The first rebirth is reported as a 1.5x multiplier, which turns an animal earning 20 Cash per second into 30 Cash per second.

Because the multiplier raises the earning rate itself rather than adding a flat bonus, it applies to every animal you already own. Your existing farm instantly pays more, without any new hatches.

Rebirths also open additional Worlds, which contain eggs with Mutations that increase the earnings of what they hatch. Those Worlds are gated behind rebirth count, so the reward keeps growing well past the first multiplier.

Since animals earn Cash while you are offline, a higher rate also raises your offline income. The benefit keeps paying during time you are not playing.

The cost nobody mentions

Power resets to zero. That means every drill, every training session and every second spent grinding Power has to be repeated before you can reach the next threshold. The rebirth is not a free upgrade; it is a loan against your own progress.

Worse, you are allowed to push Power past the threshold without resetting. Everything above the requirement is discarded when you finally press the button. That is the single most common waste in the game, and it is entirely self-inflicted.

Work out how long the climb back costs you. The rebirth calculator does this from four numbers: your Cash per second, your Power income per minute, the threshold and the multiplier.

When to press it

  • Press it the moment the button shows a red exclamation point, not a moment later.
  • Never train past the threshold on purpose. The extra Power is discarded.
  • Rebirth before a long break. Offline income works better at a higher rate, and Power does not carry over.
  • Do not delay a rebirth to finish hatching one more egg if you have a slot free and the hatch will finish. Your existing animals gain from the multiplier immediately.
  • Take the rebirth before buying a drill upgrade you cannot afford yet. The multiplier multiplies everything you earn afterwards, including what that drill pays for.

After the reset

Power is at zero and your multiplier is up. The loop from the start of the game resumes: train Power, clear a zone, steal an egg, bring it home, hatch it.

The difference is that every Cash you collect now goes through the multiplier, and more Worlds are available with mutated eggs. When you rebuild Power toward the next threshold, the same timing rule applies: reset at the threshold, never past it.

Mistakes to avoid

  • Overtraining before a rebirth. The most common mistake and the most expensive.
  • Holding out for a bigger multiplier. The gain is permanent while the delay costs income every minute.
  • Rebirthing mid-session when you still had safe eggs available. A guaranteed hatch beats a possible one.
  • Assuming the multiplier grows by a fixed amount each time. Only the first value is reported, so verify later steps in game.
  • Ignoring the new Worlds. The mutated eggs behind rebirth count are worth more than another multiplier step.

Rebirth questions

What does a rebirth give me?

A permanent Cash earning rate multiplier. The first rebirth is 1.5x, so an animal earning 20 Cash per second goes to 30. Rebirths also unlock extra Worlds with mutated animals that increase earnings further.

Why does my Power reset to zero?

That is the cost side of the trade. Power has to be rebuilt to reach the next threshold, and everything above the threshold at the moment you reset is discarded rather than banked.

Should I rebirth immediately at first?

Yes, if the button shows a red exclamation point. There is no benefit to waiting, because your income only goes up while your Power sits at zero.

What about my animals and eggs?

The multiplier is applied to your Cash earning rate, so animals you already own start paying the higher rate. That is what makes a rebirth feel immediate even before new hatches.

Does the multiplier apply to offline earnings?

Yes. Animals earn Cash offline, and a higher earning rate raises that income too, so the investment keeps paying while you are away.
