What the calculator assumes
- The first rebirth grants a 1.5x permanent Cash multiplier. This is reported by an independent source and has not been changed by the developer as of 2026-10-03.
- Rebirth requires reaching a Power threshold, and resets Power to zero. Everything above the threshold when you reset is lost.
- Your animals keep earning while you are offline, so a higher multiplier pays during time you are not playing.
- Power is raised by drilling and training, so recovering the threshold takes time proportional to your Power income.
Mechanics were verified against (🌀) Drill for Eggs documentation. Everything runs locally in your browser. Nothing you type leaves this page, and no data is stored on a server.

The three numbers that matter are time to threshold, the new Cash per second, and the Power you would throw away. If the wasted Power is large, the answer is simply to wait and rebirth closer to the threshold, because everything above it is discarded.
The daily table assumes your animals earn through the hours you are not playing, which the official game description confirms. That is why a rebirth keeps paying after you log off, and why the answer is rarely "wait much longer".
These are linear estimates with no drop rates and no offline cap, because the game does not publish either. They are useful for comparing two options against each other, not as a promise about an exact figure.

How do I know when to rebirth in Drill for Eggs?
Rebirth the moment the button shows a red exclamation point. Power above the threshold is lost when you reset, so training past it has no value. The calculator shows the income side of the same decision.
What does a rebirth actually give me?
A permanent Cash earning rate multiplier. The first rebirth is a 1.5x multiplier, so an animal earning 20 Cash per second goes to 30. Later rebirths add more, and rebirths also unlock extra Worlds with mutated animals.
How long should I wait between rebirths?
Only until the threshold is met. Because Power resets to zero, the cost of a rebirth is the time to re-reach that threshold. The calculator estimates that recovery time for you.
Is the multiplier applied to offline earnings too?
The multiplier raises your Cash earning rate, and your animals earn offline, so it applies to both. That is why a rebirth compounds even while you are away.
